Responding in Crisis

Burundi Parables Christian Ministries has responded through food distribution to people displaced by flooding, providing practical assistance during a period of immediate need.
Relief work is approached as more than the distribution of supplies. It is an opportunity to stand with people through difficult circumstances and serve them with dignity and compassion.
Care During Treatment

Some patients face an additional burden during hospitalization: obtaining enough food while they remain in the clinic.
The ministry has distributed food to hospitalized patients who have difficulty obtaining food during their time in the clinic.

Children & Education
Regular meals. A pathway to school.
Burundi Parables Christian Ministries supports children from some of the poorest families in the communities it serves by providing regular meals.
Some of these children are already attending school, while others are being prepared to begin school soon.
For many, the meal they receive through the ministry is the only meal they receive each day. Meeting this immediate need also gives children greater stability and strength as they prepare to learn and build toward a better future.
Regular nutrition can help create the stability children need as they attend school or prepare to begin their education.
